  1. We are so lucky to have the Reserve! Many generations will thank Alice Dieter and other foresighted members of the Boise Parks & Recreation Commission who, in the 1980s, realized Boiseans would someday want and need natural areas near their homes for walking, biking and riding. Now, 30 years later, not a day goes by when I don’t see someone walking their dog, biking or communing with nature somewhere on the Reserve….including us!
